SNAP Benefit Check is an independent resource that helps people estimate their SNAP, also known as food stamp, eligibility and monthly benefit amount. Each state calculator is built from rules we research directly from official government sources, then implement and test in code before publishing.

We publish a state's calculator only after that state's rules have been independently researched, sourced, specified, implemented, and tested. If your state is not listed yet, it means that work has not been completed for it.

SNAP Benefit Check is an independent informational resource and is not affiliated with the USDA or any state government agency. Calculator results are estimates. Official eligibility is determined by the appropriate state agency.

We do not store the household information you enter into a calculator. You can read the full details on our privacy page.

Questions, corrections, or feedback about a specific state's rules are welcome. Rules can and do change, so if something looks out of date, please let us know.
