Calculator information
The household information you enter into a SNAP calculator, including income, expenses, household size, medical costs, and any other detail, is used only to compute an estimate in your browser session. It is not saved to a database, written to a log file, included in analytics, placed in a URL or query string, or stored in a cookie or local storage. Once you close the page or start over, that information is gone.
Site content
Editorial content such as state information pages and blog posts is managed through a content management system. This content is public information about SNAP rules and program details, not personal information about site visitors.
Analytics
We may use anonymous, aggregate site analytics to understand which pages are used, such as page views and general traffic patterns. Analytics of this kind never include the financial or household information you enter into a calculator.
