Arizona SNAP Deductions
Arizona applies the standard federal deductions used to calculate your net income: a standard deduction based on household size, a 20% deduction on earned income, and a deduction for excess shelter costs. For household members age 60 or older or with a disability, verified medical costs from $35.01 to $180 a month qualify for a flat $145 deduction; above $180, Arizona uses the actual amount instead.
