New Jersey SNAP Deductions
This estimate applies the standard federal deductions used to calculate net income: a standard deduction based on household size, a 20% deduction on earned income, and a deduction for excess shelter costs, uncapped for households with a member age 60 or older or with a disability. Verified medical costs above $35 a month are deducted for those same households.
